This one was a wild one! The client holds a themed Poker tournament for 500 people each year. This year the event sprawled over 4 unique locations. Each area had a different theme, bar and DJ/dancing. They are shown in the photos in the order that the guests traveled thru the space. The main event space held the 40 poker tables plus live entertainment by Spearhead. Real brief: the guests entered into Eden, a primordial space full of jungle sounds, jungle leaves shimmering on the ceiling and a cast of costumed characters. We travel up the stair case bathed in deep blue light and displaying projected patterns of words and phrases. At the top of the steps is Le Pen, the techno room, hard edged white light and strobes played in this room off of a truss framework.. Further beyond in the Red Room, our down tempo lounge, diffuse red light and slow swirling textures were the mainstay here. From here we travel around to the main room for poker and entertainment. Concert lighting on a large scale. |
